Are You Expecting?

Congratulations!

Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in your life. Nothing is more rewarding than the privilege of caring for this new life and providing an environment in which both you and your child will thrive and develop. Choosing the pediatrician that can best care for your child is an important decision.

At Pediatric Partners, we share your joy and enthusiasm and look forward to the opportunity in partnering with you on the exciting journey of raising a child.

  • Get Acquainted

We encourage parents-to-be to visit our office for a prenatal appointment. This is a great way to get acquainted with our office and our providers. During this visit, we will answer any questions that you have about our practice or your new child.

  • Upon Arrival

When your baby is born at Mercy hospital, simply select Dr. Schluterman as the attending physician for your baby in the hospital.

Our office will be notified of your baby's birth by the hospital staff, and Dr. Schluterman (or his call partner) will see your baby while your little one is in the hospital.

A few days after discharge from the hospital, you will bring your baby to our clinic for the first weight check with one of our nurses.  We like to do these weight checks in the morning before we have any sick children in our waiting rooms.

At that weight check visit, we will have you schedule an appointment for your baby's two week wellness check-up with one of our providers.

Again, Congratulations! Enjoy this exciting time.
